设计思路:该活动的目的在于复习巩固语言知识,短语听写优于单词的听写,因为它们是以语块(language chunk)的形式出现的,对语块的学习有利于用英语思维并提高语言表达的流利性。
教学效果:学生情况不一。
步骤二:听力训练 Using Language
Listening,Page 37.Two foreign tourists,Lucy and Rick and their tour group are visiting the Folk Cuhure Villages in Shenzhen.
1.(个人活动)请学生观察表格,读出这些少数民族的名称。听第一遍,完成Ex.1,“to match each national group to an example of its customs”,然后核对答案。
2.(两人活动)请学生阅读Ex.2部分的问题,做到心中有数。听第二遍,回答问题。听完后,请同桌两位学生相互讨论所给答案,核对答案。
3.(个人活动)请学生第三遍听录音,并找出能集中体现导游身份的语言。
Possible answers:
1) Well, you'd better hurry up because we want to see at least half of the villages before noon.We mustn't miss the Uyghur cultural dances and the Dai singing that starts at 1 o'clock.
2) The different styles of houses are most interesting.They show the environments that people live in as well as the various cultures.

设计思路:该项活动的设计在于通过听,使学生获取有关“深圳民俗村”的相关信息。并初步了解作为一个导游,其语言的特色,即his/her words need to be in an introductive way。
教学效果:活动前有铺垫,活动后有讨论,因此前两个活动的效果不错。第三个活动有一定的难度.效果不理想。
步骤三:听力训练——Workbook (P.69)
1.Warming-up
了解学生是否有参观海洋公园或水族馆的经历。或者他们是否了解一个海洋公园或水族馆的情况。
引导性问题如下:
Have you ever been to a marine park?
Have you ever been to an aquarium?
If you have,please tell us
·what you saw there.
·what impressed you most there;
·what made it different from other places.
如果学生对上述两个地方都不太了解的话,可以接着问学生知道哪些海洋动物。
2.Listening
1)请学生阅读Ex.1,了解任务内容。
2)播放一遍录音,学生答题。核对答案。
3)请学生阅读Ex.2的问题,了解任务内容。
4)第二次播放录音,学生答题。核对答案。
*3.如果时间允许,可以请学生跟读模仿。
设计思路:该项活动的设计在于通过听,使学生获取有关澳大利亚“海洋公园”的相关信息。
教学效果:因为有听前的热身活动,所以学生能比较好地完成该项听力任务。
步骤四:作业布置
1.听磁带,巩固课堂听力内容,并选取其中的一段进行听写训练。
2.完成P.73 Listening Task。
